Warranty Information

This page explains how Aqualen reviews product-quality concerns, what information helps us assess a potential warranty issue, and how proper care and intended use affect the review of water-sports and outdoor leisure equipment purchased through aqualen.lol.

Start with the product and the purchase

Warranty coverage, if any, may vary by product and by the specific terms presented with the item, order, or applicable consumer law. Aqualen does not use this page to invent a universal warranty duration that may not apply to every product.

01

Find your order

Keep the order number, purchase email, product name, and any other information that reasonably confirms the purchase through Aqualen.

02

Describe the issue

Explain what happened, when you noticed it, how the product was being used, and which component appears affected.

03

Take clear photos

Photograph the full product and close-ups of the affected area, including seams, closures, fittings, valves, straps, surfaces, or other relevant parts.

04

Contact Aqualen

Send the available information before attempting an unapproved repair, modification, or return that could make the original condition harder to assess.

How a warranty review works

A warranty review focuses on the product condition, purchase information, intended use, care history, available product-specific terms, and the nature of the reported issue.

01

Potential manufacturing concerns

Issues that may justify further review can include a suspected defect in materials, construction, assembly, or a functional component when the product has been used and cared for in a manner consistent with available instructions.

A visible problem does not automatically establish a manufacturing defect, so we may request additional information before determining the appropriate response.

02

Product-specific terms

If a product includes its own warranty statement, duration, registration requirement, manufacturer instruction, or remedy limitation, those product-specific terms may apply in addition to rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Keep product inserts, labels, manuals, order documentation, and other warranty information that arrives with the item.

03

Available remedies

Depending on the product, the issue, applicable warranty terms, and consumer law, an approved resolution may involve repair guidance, replacement, a replacement component, refund, credit, or another appropriate remedy.

The available remedy is determined after review and is not guaranteed to be the same for every product or claim.

04

Proof and verification

We may ask for proof of purchase, photos, video, serial or model information where available, packaging details, care history, and other reasonable information needed to verify the product and understand the reported condition.

05

Mandatory consumer rights remain

Nothing on this page excludes, reduces, or replaces rights or remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow Aqualen to exclude. If mandatory law provides greater protection than a voluntary product warranty, the mandatory legal protection continues to apply.

Care and Intended Use

Product care can affect the condition we review

Water, sand, salt, sunlight, heat, repeated loading, impact, improper storage, and incorrect setup can all affect outdoor equipment. Follow available product instructions and inspect gear regularly.

  • Rinse salt, sand, chlorine, or debris when appropriate for the product and materials.
  • Dry equipment thoroughly before folding, closing, or long-term storage.
  • Use recommended inflation, fastening, load, setup, and compatibility guidance where provided.
  • Store gear away from avoidable heat, sharp objects, standing moisture, and conditions that can damage materials.
  • Stop using an item if damage, unusual wear, a loose fitting, a compromised seam, or another condition could affect normal operation.

Conditions that may fall outside a voluntary warranty

The examples below are common reasons a voluntary warranty may not apply, subject to the actual product-specific terms and any mandatory legal rights.

Normal wear

Expected cosmetic changes, surface wear, gradual fading, routine abrasion, and other changes associated with ordinary use may not indicate a manufacturing defect.

Impact or accidental damage

Punctures, cuts, crushing, collision damage, drops, improper transport, sharp-object contact, or other accidental damage may fall outside voluntary warranty coverage.

Incorrect setup or use

Damage associated with improper inflation, excessive loading, incorrect assembly, unsuitable fastening, incompatible components, or use contrary to available instructions may affect eligibility.

Unauthorized modification

Alterations, drilling, cutting, unapproved adhesive work, incompatible replacement parts, or other modifications can make the original condition difficult to evaluate.

Storage and care damage

Damage caused by prolonged moisture, mildew, avoidable heat, poor drying, chemical exposure, improper cleaning, or unsuitable storage may not be treated as a manufacturing issue.

Commercial or unusual use

If a product is used outside its stated intended purpose, in unusually demanding conditions, or in a manner not described by available product information, warranty treatment may differ.

Document the Condition

Good documentation helps us understand the issue

Before cleaning, repairing, modifying, or discarding an affected part, capture enough information to show the original condition. This is especially useful for seams, valves, buckles, handles, coatings, straps, closures, attachment points, and paddle-sports components.

  • Take one image showing the entire item and its overall condition.
  • Take close-up images from more than one angle when the issue is localized.
  • Include labels, model information, or markings when available and relevant.
  • Describe when the issue first appeared and whether the product had already been used in water.
  • Keep the item available while the support review is open unless Aqualen tells you otherwise.

What happens after you contact us

We review the information available and may ask follow-up questions before determining whether a product-specific warranty, another store remedy, or mandatory consumer protection applies.

06

Initial assessment

We may review the purchase record, photographs, product information, care history, reported use, and available warranty terms to determine what additional information is needed.

07

Additional inspection

Some issues may require further documentation, a return for inspection, a component check, or another reasonable verification step before a final decision can be made.

08

Resolution

If the issue qualifies for a remedy, Aqualen will explain the available next step based on the product, the confirmed condition, applicable terms, and legal requirements.

09

Shipping related to a claim

If a return, replacement, or component shipment is required, shipping instructions and responsibility for related costs may depend on the reason for the claim, the applicable warranty, and mandatory law.

Standard Aqualen shipping information is 3–5 business days where applicable, but claim-related transit and inspection timing can differ.
